Dear SCI graduate students with a Computer Science major:
For those of you who do not know me, I am Ke-Yun Yeh,
the President of the School of Computing and Information Science Graduate Student Organization (SCIGSO).
I would like to extend my recommendation to Nick Gordon for being an executive board member of CS-GSO.
Nick was the business manager for CS-GSO 2019-2020, which gave us lots of chances to work together.
He left me with a strong first impression when giving his budget plan at our first meeting.
You can tell from his presentation that he is organized and did his homework to digest what has happened during the last
administration and what is coming up for the following year. The great work continued throughout the year that he acted as
the bridge to connect the student government more with the CS department. Hence, I am convinced that he has the capability to build
high-quality relationships with your staff and faculties, which could further payback and benefit our students with more support and resources.
Nick is the person I would reach out to when I want to have a thorough discussion and constructive
feedback on critical issues, so it is really our pleasure to have him on the team.
And I am glad that he is willing to stay and serve in the CS-GSO for another year.
Here, I would like to express my support for Nick Gordon running for this election and
I believe he would an awesome fit for either the President or the Business Manager position.
