| As business manager I aim to not take a passive role, but rather continue the previous year's pattern of encouraging each officer to be more equal and share workloads. I want to regularize the relationship between the CS GSO SCI GSO and improve the GSOs relationship with the CS department chair, as the previous chair stepped down during the middle of last year. I want to encourage the development of community and social groups within the CS department; I think these groups are extremely important for success as a graduate student, foster better research, and lead to a more lively department that acts as a positive feedback loop. |
