| Dear SCI graduate students with a Computer Science major: For those of you who do not know me, I am Ke-Yun Yeh, the President of the School of Computing and Information Science Graduate Student Organization (SCIGSO). I would like to extend my recommendation to Maher Khan for being an executive board member of CS-GSO. I have worked closely with Maher for a year when he served as the Vice President for CS-GSO 2019-2020. As the Vice President, Maher did a great job of looking after the work of other officers. He is also an active member at the meetings who is always engaged and willing to share his insightful opinions. Besides dedicating to events for CS students, Maher also volunteered to several events SCIGSO hosted. As you may have noticed from the annual review of SCIGSO, we have worked on several changes and innovations together with our child-organizations this year, including CS-GSO. Maher is the one who commits to the work assigned even during this uncertain time and helps us to make the progress. Here, I would like to express my support for Maher Khan running for this election and I believe he would again be an awesome Vice President with a year of experience. | |||
